Photographing Tigers growling up close and personal – a fun Marwell Wedding

David and Sam had a gorgeous sunny day for their Marwell Zoo wedding and with so many young children present with lots of space to run and around and explore it was an active and fun wedding to photograph. Julian and I were fortunate enough to be invited to photograph the moment when David and Sam were taken into the caged enclosure to watch the tigers during feeding time as their guests watched on. The male took offence with Julian at one point and we got quite a few growls up almost too close for comfort.
A hog roast on the beautiful lawn and children blowing bubbles made Marwell Hall a perfect setting for this elegant but family focused wedding which was lovely to be a part of.

  1. It was a fantastic and perfect day and it was lovely to welcome Naomi and Julian to share our very special day and they done a fantastic job of capturing this special day.
I would like to say a very big thank you to you both and also to let you know your work is fantastic and we could not have found better photographers anywhere.
I had picked you as my photographer before we had set the date or venue as your work is so well presented and fantastic.
You made us feel very comfortable and we felt as though we had known you both for a long time.
    Thank you
    Sam
